18th Century Russian Orthodox "Old Believers" Bronze Cross Pendant – Authentic Antique Religious Artifact

Own a genuine piece of Russian history with this authentic 18th-century Russian Orthodox "Old Believers" bronze cross pendant. These distinctive devotional crosses were worn by members of the Old Believers, a religious movement that separated from the Russian Orthodox Church in the mid-1700s after rejecting liturgical reforms. Today, these crosses are highly sought after by collectors of religious antiquities, medieval artifacts, and Russian history.

Featuring the traditional Old Believers design with raised religious imagery and Church Slavonic inscriptions, this cross displays an attractive centuries-old green patina that only genuine age can produce. It has not been cleaned or polished, preserving its originality and historical character.

Old Believers crosses have become increasingly collectible due to their rich history, distinctive craftsmanship, and limited surviving examples. Each cross tells a story from one of the most turbulent periods in Russian religious history, making them prized additions to collections of antique religious items, Byzantine art, and archaeological artifacts.
