Pristine vintage 1960s/70s West German art pottery jug by Jasba (Model 250/15). Features textured abstract relief motifs, rich earthy glazes, and crucially retains its rare original factory wax store tag tied to the handle.
The Heritage & Design
An authentic mid-century West German art pottery jug produced by Jasba Keramik during the 1960s or 1970s. Modelled as the 250/15, this piece features a textured, tactile body with raised abstract scroll/swirl and reed relief patterns. The rich bronze-brown and blue-grey mottled fat-lava style glaze highlights the intricate surface details.
The Collector's Bonus
Most vintage pieces lose their original paper or plastic tags decades ago. This example is an incredible survivor, retaining its original red molded wax hang tag bearing the "Jasba Keramik / Western Germany" branding, making it a standout piece for serious West German Art Pottery (WGP) collections.
