Attractive pair of two original vintage postcards from French Indochina, published by the noted Hanoi photographer and postcard publisher P. Dieulefils.
The cards feature unusual photographic montage designs forming the large names HUE and HANOI.
Within the letters are numerous small photographic views of buildings, monuments, street scenes, local people and everyday life in French Indochina.

as well as his characteristic "Au Brule-Parfum" trademark.
Pierre-Marie Dieulefils (1862-1937) was an important photographer and postcard publisher working in French Indochina and is particularly known for his extensive photographic documentation of Tonkin, Annam, Cochinchina and Cambodia.
