Antique Thai Handcarved Teak Wood Buddhist Temple Fragment Chofa Gold Gilt 1920s.

Genuine architectural treasure with a sculpted floral flame design resembling a traditional Kranok or Xhofa motif from a sacred Southeast Asian temple roofline.

Gold leaf gilding over a deep crimson lacquered base, highlighting decades of spiritual devotion. Attached to a black display block with felt pads.

Extras;

Handmade: Sculpted from a single piece of dense timber using hand chisels to create deep, layered flame design.

Authentic Antique: Gold leaf applied over a historic red lacquer base layer. Over decades, as the gold wears out the underlayer naturally starts to expose itself.
