This vintage late 1970's/1980's Le Jour '7000' chronograph shows moderate overall wear. The matte black PVD stainless steel mid-case and case back show honest wear. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "WATERRESISTANT INCABLOC AUTOMATIC ALL STAINLESS STEEL ANTIMAGNETIC SWISS" with "7000" stamped along the inner edge. The inside of the case back is stamped "ITIKA WATCH" followed by "SWISS." Itika manufactured parts for Le Jour during this era. The case back unscrews and screws back down without issue. The case back gasket needs to be replaced. Both pushers press in and depress although the top pusher does so more smoothly than the bottom pusher which is a bit sticky. The crystal shows scratching and hazing on its underbelly.
Using only a ruler the case measures approximately 40 mm excluding the tube and approximately 19 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the fixed bezel, is approximately 13.5 mm. The crystal adds no measurable thickness. The lug to lug distance measures approximately 41 mm.
