Vintage Universal Tool & Mfg. Co. Fire Alarm Station / Call Box – San Francisco, California

Original vintage red metal fire alarm station marked “UNIVERSAL TOOL & MFG. CO. – S.F. CAL.” on the lower front.

Features embossed FIRE ALARM STATION, LIFT COVER, PULL HANDLE, and operating instructions on the front, with vintage FIRE identification decals on both sides.

The box shows considerable authentic age and use, including chipped and worn paint, scratches, scuffs, exposed metal, surface oxidation/discoloration and wear to the decals.

Important: The front access door is currently stuck/locked and I have been unable to open it. The interior has therefore not been inspected. Internal components, completeness and operating condition are unknown. The alarm has not been tested. No key is included.
