Original copper-alloy decorative mount featuring an attractive raised rose or floral design.

The face is decorated with a prominent multi-petal rosette surrounded by further scrolling/floral detail, with a central circular fixing hole and small projecting knops around the perimeter.

The reverse is plain and shows surface marks consistent with its original method of attachment.

Likely a post-medieval decorative fitting, possibly associated with horse harness, leatherwork, furniture or similar decorative use.
