CHINA PRC – EARLY 1950s STAMP COLLECTION

Interesting collection of approximately 70 early People's Republic of China stamps, mainly dating from the early 1950s.

The collection contains a wide range of early PRC commemorative and special issues with subjects including Chinese history, industry, agriculture, culture, peace, political anniversaries and sport.

A large specialized group of S4 "Gymnastics by Radio" stamps

The S4 Gymnastics stamps are believed to be mainly from the second printing / official reprint issue.

Two stamps have been identified and marked as first-printing examples. The collector's small identification markers are shown in the scan.

The S4 group is not offered as a complete set of 40 different stamps. It contains numerous different exercises, positions and colours.
