Techkon DENS combines three functions in one compact device:

• Reflection densitometer for CMYK prints
• Transmission densitometer for film (Light Table is required for accurate transmission measurements)
• Integrated magnifier for visual inspection

⚙️ Functions & Capabilities

The device allows measurement of:

• Optical density (CMYK)
• Dot area (%)
• Gray balance
• Basic print control parameters

Equipped with a polarization filter, which helps equalize readings between wet (freshly printed) and dry sheets.

SLOPE correction allows adjustment of DENS to match density values of other devices.

Gray balance measurement is very simple: with a single measurement of the gray patch, the device sequentially displays all CMYК values. If you’d like to see it in action, there are short demo videos available on YouTube (search: “Techkon DENS”).

This device has no moving parts, which significantly increases reliability. Combined with its solid metal housing and long-life LED light source, it is exceptionally durable and built for long-term professional use!
