Originally used as retaining clips on the Harley-Davidson V-Rod / VRSC air cleaner and airbox assembly. Harley-Davidson parts information specifies 7 clips per V-Rod air cleaner assembly.

V-Rod applications include 2002–2017 VRSC models, including various:

VRSCA / VRSCAW V-Rod
VRSCB
VRSCD Night Rod
VRSCDX Night Rod Special
VRSCF V-Rod Muscle
and other applicable VRSC models.

P/N 29519-01 was also subsequently used as a battery retaining clip on Milwaukee-Eight Softail models.
