Japanese Occupation issues of China are a highly specialized field of philately. Apparently identical stamps may represent different catalogue numbers depending on the precise overprint, type, position, underlying stamp printing, watermark and other characteristics.
The stamps have been carefully examined, identified and arranged according to the Michel catalogue by the previous collector.
The collection is offered in this original arrangement. Individual Michel catalogue numbers are not separately guaranteed, and specialists are invited to make their own final determination from the detailed high-resolution scans.
Condition:
Mostly MNH – Mint Never Hinged.
Only a very small number of stamps show a
very light trace of a first hinge.
Overall very good condition with fresh colours
and generally very attractive appearance.
An excellent specialized lot for the collector of China, Japanese Occupation issues, Sun Yat-sen stamps and overprint varieties.
Please examine all high-resolution scans carefully.
The scans form an important part of the description
and show the exact stamps included in this lot.
