A Seagrams Distillery 38 page treatise on the similarities and differences between the Canadian and US constitutional democracies.
Includes a centre piece coloured map with population of states and provinces in charts.
Published in 1960 and included as part of Seagrams Annual Report with a title page including a photo of CEO Sam Bronfman and a letter from Bronfman with a facsimile signature.
Bronfman says as follows "....The House of Seagram - with its roots deep in both countries - this year presents as part of its own Annual Report, an analysis of the forms of government of both countries in the hope that each may understand the other better."
A far cry from the vitriol presently characterizing the relationship.
The soft cover wraps have embossed and gilt printing of the title and of the emblems of both countries.
The wraps are lightly textured and both the wraps and the pages are high end rag paper.
An expensively produced publication.
Please see and zoom the photos for condition.
