Antique Haviland & Co. Limoges French Porcelain Floral Serving Platter – c.1890s/Early 1900s

A beautiful antique Haviland & Co. porcelain oval serving platter, made in Limoges, France around the turn of the 20th century.

Decorated with delicate sprays of pink, lavender-blue and green flowers against a white porcelain ground, with an attractive shaped and moulded border picked out in gilt.

The reverse carries the green Haviland France manufacturer's mark, a mark introduced in 1893.

It also bears the Haviland & Co. Limoges mark and an interesting British retailer's stamp for:

Good antique condition overall.

No obvious major chips, cracks or repairs have been identified from the photographs.

There is expected age-related surface/use wear and some rubbing/wear to the gilt decoration around the rim. Minor manufacturing and glaze irregularities may also be present.
