Period documentation indicates that the No. 7 pen was the specified very-fine-line pen for use with the VCN 90 and VCN 120 guides, making the pieces in this set an appropriate matched combination.
The 1926 marking is the patent date and is not being represented as the exact manufacture date of this particular set.
Pre-owned vintage condition with considerable age and use-related wear. Wooden case has scratches, scuffs, staining/discoloration, finish wear and other marks throughout. Metal hardware shows age and oxidation. Lettering guides show surface wear consistent with use and storage.
The pen has age-related wear, tarnish/oxidation and residue visible around the mechanism. Pen has not been cleaned, restored, inked, or function-tested and is sold as-is.
