An exceptional, complete 16-piece studio pottery coffee service created in the 1960s by renowned British potter Marianne de Trey (1913–2016) at the historic Shinners Bridge Pottery in Dartington, Devon.
Crafted in her signature style, the set features a rich dark manganese/iron ground with a contrasting speckled oatmeal-white dipped glaze. Each piece bears her famous impressed scallop shell seal mark near the foot.
