Vintage OD-1 with Silver Screws and TL4558P

The BOSS OD-1 Over Drive is a historical model known as the world's first mass-produced overdrive pedal, released in 1977. It features a natural distortion and rich midrange reminiscent of a pushed tube amplifier, and has had a significant influence on subsequent overdrive pedal development.

This unit features the highly sought-after silver screw specification and is equipped with a 052-281D circuit board and TL4558P op-amp. Despite its simple two-control design, it offers excellent expressive capabilities, making it versatile for everything from booster to main drive sounds. It remains a beloved classic among players and collectors, representing the early days of the BOSS compact series.

The exterior shows signs of age-appropriate wear, including scratches and scuffs, but it is in perfect working order. The battery snap has been replaced.
