Basic functions tested and working, with the unit powering up normally, the front POWER lamp lighting, the ON/OFF toggle switch operating smoothly, and correct DC voltage confirmed at the rear multi-pin output connector when connected to an SP-10MKII drive unit. Cosmetically it is in good used condition for its age, with scattered light scuffs and fine surface marks across the top panel, a few small paint chips and rubs along the front panel edges and around the front hex screws, and light dirt around the rear screws, while the rating label and front lettering remain clear and legible. Serial: DA8228E048. This is the genuine Matsushita-made power unit required to operate a Technics SP-10MKII turntable, supplied with its factory-attached Japanese power cord and rear XLR-type output socket. Please note: this unit is designed for Japanese AC 100V. A step-down transformer is required for use outside Japan.
