Scarce early period piece of coin sterling silver crafted by Pardon Miller, Providence, Rhode Island.  He worked in Rhode Island from 1822 through 1850 as a silversmith, jeweler, and watchmaker. Items attributed to Pardon Miller are rare and sought after by collectors of 19th-century American silver. Monogrammed in script “M.B.L.” on handle.  Fine condition with age appropriate wear.  See photos.  Length: 6” / Weight: 29.5 grams (1.04 oz)
