Important Checks
PLEASE CHECK YOUR EXISTING PART AND PART NUMBER BEFORE PURCHASING.
Customers should confirm:
• Pierburg number matches 7.22300.62.0 • VW OE number matches where available • Engine code is AAB • Pump body and mounting arrangement match • Vacuum connection matches • Vehicle production date is suitable • Chassis / VIN is within the correct range
It is particularly important to check the pump version on AAB engines. Early and later AAB vacuum pumps are different and must not be interchanged without confirming compatibility.
Please compare all photographs with the part currently fitted to your vehicle.
Do not rely solely on the vehicle compatibility checker.
