Located inside the f-hole is a sticker printed with the words: ‘Made in Western Germany’.  It has a one-piece back with rather plain figure. This 15-inch viola is at least 55 years old. 

In very good condition, there are a couple of condition issues to note: 1. a scrape located on the edge of the lower treble bout on the back;  2. Inscribed on the button are the initials: MS.  Please examine the photos as they are part of the description.  The soundpost is inside, but not set up.  The viola would need a bridge, tailpiece and strings to be playable.
