Welcome to my ebay shop!

In my continuing to downsize my large collection, I am offering today one of my most rare and beautiful dolls that I have really loved owning. After 13 years of doll collecting I have had some truly wonderful dolls come, stay awhile then find a new loving home. I am getting older and like a lot of my clients, want my dolls to go to appreciative collectors now. I purchased her years ago, just loving the KLING Parian dolls, and glass eyes were on my bucket list-- especially BROWN eyes!

This doll is mold number 135/8 marked on back of shoulder plate. She is 24" tall on a cloth body with perfect delicate molded bisque lower arms and no chips to fingers. Lower legs are cloth covered with handmade leather boots. Her shoulder head was carefully placed on a special fabric padded bodice with a sock type fabric on upper arms, on the cloth body. Lovingly set up to insure secure positioning and protection. SEE the photos for the details. She has a homemade couture style period layered lined brown silk type fabric dress with black lace trimmed dress, ornamented brooch/button at top. She has a lace trimmed slip and pantaloons and still wears her original tiny crystal earrings. Her hair is beautifully styled and see the back! She has gorgeous large brown glass inset eyes and lovely delicately feathered brows. The molded bodice with higher collar in back has no issues which is SO unusual. Her dress shows off a bit of that bodice by designed slightly off shoulder. She has pierced ears and that unmistakable sweet KLING face with gorgeous creamy bisque.

This doll has garnered a LOT of attention over the years in my doll room from doll repair clients, all very curious to know what she is. The average person has no idea what a bisque or a Parian doll is, and the glass eyes especially interest them. The bisque parians are true beauties and she is exceptional. I gave her a wonderful handmade poke bonnet from my antique doll hat collection when I got her, it seemed a great match to her dress with nice color contrast and a fall theme. Original tag inside made by Iowa artisan 'Grandma Niles' of Sabula Iowa and you will see her hats often on Ruby Lane, they are beautifully made and desirable.   Please see her photos to appreciate this rare, splendid beauty! Cloth body enables her to sit or stand. Metal doll Stand included with her if desired which I include especially with high end dolls.

She will ship signature confirmation insured, from my smoke free home.  With larger dolls I often use UPS or FED EX. However as she can sit I can put her in a sq instead of overlong box which makes a big difference for shipping cost.
