To create this layer, Ralph Lauren updated a sporting-inspired silhouette that was based on an archival Ralph Lauren jacket with lightweight suede.

Size medium has a 66 cm front body length, a 64.8 cm back body length, a 50.2 cm shoulder, a 116.2 cm chest and a 91.4 cm sleeve length. Sleeve length is taken from the centre back of the neck and changes 0.6 cm between sizes.

Rib-knit mockneck with a two-button closure on the front. Buttoned placket. Signature buttons. Long sleeves with rib-knit cuffs.

Ventilating metal grommets on the underarms.

Two front waist buttoned pockets. Interior left waist pocket.

Rib-knit hem. Fully lined. Upper body is lined with plaid poplin.

Shell and lining: 100% goat suede. Upper body lining: 100% cotton. Lower body lining and sleeve lining: 60% cupro, 40% cotton. Dry clean by a leather specialist. Imported. (Made in India)
