Here is a nice Log End Cut of Petrified Wood from Goliwe, Zimbabwe. The Green Tint is due to the presence of Chromium in the agate. Maximum diameter of the cut face is about 5.25 inches, and it is about 4.75 inches in maximum length. It’s about 6 lb. in weight.

Color of the cut face is a mixture of browns with some green tint areas. This would be a nice piece to slice.
