This is a vintage Japanese Seiko Skyliner open-face pocket watch featuring a silver-tone dial, applied hour markers, date display, 21-jewel manual-winding movement, and a distinctive palladium-plated case with an integrated bow.

FUNCTIONAL CONDITION — IMPORTANT

This watch is not fully operational.

The movement can be wound and the watch may begin running. However, when the seconds hand overlaps the minute hand, the two hands catch against each other and the watch stops.

The watch therefore does not run continuously and requires hand adjustment, repair, or professional servicing before normal use.

Timekeeping accuracy and power reserve have not been tested. The date display is present, but the date-setting operation has not been fully verified. The watch is being sold strictly as-is for repair, restoration, or parts.

COSMETIC CONDITION

This is a heavily used vintage item with substantial age-related wear.

The crystal has numerous scratches, scuffs, and surface marks. The dial shows visible scratches, spotting, discoloration, staining, and deterioration. The printed text and Seiko logo show wear. The hands and applied hour markers also show age-related wear.

The case, bezel, bow, crown, and case back have scratches, scuffs, discoloration, plating wear, and other signs of long-term use. No polishing or restoration has been performed by the seller.
