Antique Staffordshire Pearlware Jug AUTUMN Transfer Pitcher, England, c. 1800 - 1835. This is a very early and attractive small pitcher or jug with a hand colored transfer scene of a little girl in a garden with a basket of fruit. This very early pitcher has a deep blue - green pooling to the pottery body. There is a verse on the other side that reads, "Oh bless me with an honest mind - above all selfish ends: Humanely warm to all mankind. And cordial to my friends." This is unmarked but dates to the end of the 18th to the early 19th century. I offer this early pearlware jug with a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The Staffordshire pitcher is about 4 11/16" H. x 4 3/16" W. x 5 13/16" L. from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle. CONDITION: The condition is good with some small chips and nicks to the end of the spout. There is also some nicks and roughness to the base with some thin, tight hairlines to the base as well.
