Striking vintage original artwork signed D. Merry 1972.

This abstract composition has an elemental, almost cosmic feel, with vivid tones of purple, red, and black. Likely mixed media on board/canvas.

Date: 1972 (signed and dated by the artist)

Medium: Mixed media (paint/possibly textured surface)

Style: Abstract / Modernist / Mid-Century

Size (including frame): approx. 73 cm x 42 cm

Condition: Artwork displays age wear in keeping with age. There is a tiny area of loss to the middle (see photos). The frame shows wear and would benefit from a light polish or refinish, but remains solid and displays well.

This is an original mid-20th century abstract work with great colour and presence, ready to hang.
