Haley & Co. operated as wholesale and commission dealers in fish at No. 6 Fulton Fish Market, and period New York directories identify Dudley and Albert Haley with the firm. The double-sided card also contains commercial weight and shipping terminology and the name Louis Boynton, providing an unusually direct artifact of the late-19th-century New York seafood trade.
