Up for sale is a rare vintage mid-century plastic submachine gun / rifle toy manufactured by the Esquire Novelty Corp. This piece features the classic "ESQUIRE ®, AMSTERDAM N.Y." stamping clearly visible on the receiver. Styled with a beautiful faux wood-grain finish on the stock, pistol grip, and forward vertical handgrip, with a camouflage brown and black alternating colors. This is a fantastic piece of vintage Americana toy history.

Fully functional! The trigger pulls smoothly and triggers the internal mechanism to make its classic vintage firing sound.

Features a permanent bright orange safety plug on the tip of the barrel to comply with modern safety standards and platform regulations.

This toy gun is in great condition. It does have a small plastic decorative piece missing (please look at picture #5). It measures about 23 inches long.
