VERY GOOD cond, apart from some foxing that I will mention below.
RARE - but what exactly is it?
Well, we bought a whole collection of "Mounted Ready to Frame" historical documents, and this is one of them!
Each item came with an individual "Certificate of Authenticity" printed by the previous owner in Dec 2008 - called "Dale of the Avon Collectables" - J.M. Shaw, but I haven't been able to find out anything about them.
I think what the map might be is a cutting from a book, or magazine!
It does have light coloured, but still obvious foxing to the surface, and also to the mount, so it does certainly look like it came from the 1950's
It is firmly glued to the mounting board, which looks like quality archival mounting, so I can't see what is on the back of the map.
So - this document remains a mystery, but still a very interesting and visually impressive one

Map itself measures 21.5 cms x 12.5 cms - with the mount included it measures 32 cms x 23 cms
