This incredibly Rare Georgian braided 3 strand Seed Pearl Necklace recently found in a very old St. Louis estate features a woven strand of natural seed pearls, a seed pearl 3 flowers drop and a 10K clasp and original gold fluted endcaps. The pearls are individually hand-stitched on a Mother of Pearl scalloped support as you can see in our photos. The necklace is short as was typical for the times, however, it came with a 3" extender from the estate.

The clasp is marked 10K as you can see in our last photo.

Measures: Necklace: 14 1/4" (it was came with a 3" extender which will be
included which makes it 17 1/4")
Pendant: 2" in length

In excellent condition. Everything is complete and we have made No repairs. The pendant is original to the necklace. The antique gold end caps are original to the necklace. The spring ring is an old repair which was a common repair in the mid 20th century when the original clasp was no longer working. This was the only repair which happened many years ago. The clasp works appropriately and holds securely.
It is the perfect delicate necklace for a bride or formal evening which requires sophisticated class.
