This listing is for a vintage Baume & Mercier Genève rectangular watch head with a black dial, gold-tone hands and a blue cabochon-style crown.

CONDITION

The balance wheel can be seen moving in the accompanying video. However, the watch has not been professionally serviced or tested for accuracy, power reserve or continuous operation. Its service history is unknown.

The watch is incomplete. No case back, strap or bracelet is included.

The black dial has visible scratches, marks, surface wear and age-related deterioration. Wear and possible chips/damage can be seen around the dial edges. The hands, case and crown also show scratches, discoloration and general wear from age and previous use.

The crown has a blue cabochon-style stone. The stone type has not been tested. The case and dial materials have also not been professionally tested, so no claim is made regarding precious-metal or natural-stone content.
