Vodafone recently launched a new mobile Wi Fi router called R227h. It is manufactured by Huawei and features Cat-6 LTE. In addition to the Cat-6 LTE, the device is also backward compatible with UMTS (3G) and frequency bands.

According to the official website of Vodafone, the size of R227h is 125.6 x 70.5 x 13.8mm, and the weight is approximately 150gms. The device only comes in beautiful black. There is an LCD (1.45) that can monitor download speed, connection time, network name, signal strength, WiFi status, SMS, and battery capacity. It has a large 3000 mAh Li pol battery that can run on its WiFi for up to 8 hours.

The Vodafone R227h adopts the Balong 722M chipset, while the BCM4356 WiFi chip is installed internally, providing connections for up to 8 WiFi enabled devices. It has 256MB of storage space and runs on 256 Mb of RAM. This router supports DL/UL speeds of up to 300/50 Mbps on its LTE, 42.2/5.76 Mbps on UMTS, and 296/177 Kbps on EDGE frequencies.

Its 3000mAH battery can provide 4 hours of internet access on a 12G connection. It can provide 4 hours of standby time on 600G/3G networks. The modem supports dual band WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2 * 2 2.4G/5G DBDC. It has a 2.0 USB slot to connect to the computer.
