These are a pair of MDC Sport Classic stirrups in 4½", fitted with Beval Super Comfort Grip Stirrup Pads. They are quality stirrups that have served me extremely well, and I'm genuinely pleased to offer them to another rider who can put them back to work.
These were actually the first brand-new pair of stirrups I ever bought for myself as an adult, while I was living and riding in California.
I competed extensively in them with my horses and they became one of those essential pieces of equipment I truly appreciated every time I rode, in practice, in the show ring, and on trail.
For me, they were exceptionally comfortable and made a noticeable difference in my position. The support helped stabilize my foot and lower leg while relieving pressure on my ankles. That allowed me to drop more naturally into my heel, which in turn helped stabilize my lower leg and the rest of my position.
The difference was significant enough that I could ride for as long as three hours without the unsightly rubs I had experienced before.
When I eventually bought another saddle, I liked these stirrups so much that I bought another pair for it — and kept these as my backup.
I think that's about the strongest endorsement I can give a piece of tack: you know it's good when you replace it with another pair of the same thing and still keep the originals!
The Sport Classic combines a traditional solid-sided stirrup design with MDC's adjustable top. The top can be positioned in traditional, 45-degree or 90-degree positions, allowing the rider to customize how the stirrup hangs.
The wide footbed provides a substantial platform under the foot while retaining a classic appearance.
These are 4½" stirrups, as shown in the measurement photographs.
This pair also includes installed Beval Super Comfort Grip Stirrup Pads in the corresponding 4½" size.
The pads provide a cushioned, high-grip surface and remain securely installed. I have intentionally not removed them, because doing so requires cutting their retaining ties. I'd much rather preserve the complete, properly installed setup for the next owner than disturb it simply for a photograph.
These are pre-owned riding equipment and show normal cosmetic evidence of use, including light surface marks/scuffs to the polished metal.
There are no issues that prevented me from enjoying them as intended, and the Beval pads retain good usable tread.
I've photographed them carefully so you can evaluate their condition for yourself. I believe good used tack should be represented honestly — I'd much rather you know exactly what you're receiving and be delighted when you open the package.

For reference, a new pair of MDC Sport Classics currently retails for approximately $239.95, while a new pair of Beval Super Comfort Grip pads is approximately $29.95 — roughly $270 combined new retail before tax or shipping.
These will be carefully wrapped and securely packaged so the stirrups cannot bang against or scratch one another in transit. I take the same care shipping my equipment that I did owning it.
