This upgraded replacement Oil Separator is located in the right-hand cylinder head of multiple Mercedes-Benz vehicles using the M119 V8 engine.  It is designed as a direct replacement for the discontinued Mercedes-Benz Oil Separator part number 119-010-00-62. The new part is an all metal design with a nitrile O-ring, eliminating the original plastic part which is prone to deterioration over time.  Installation is identical to the original Mercedes-Benz part by lubricating the O-ring and fully seating the part in place.  Replacement of the connecting breather "funnel" hose (119-016-01-81) is recommended during installation of the new Oil Separator. Ensure all pieces of the old breather hose and plastic air/ oil separator are removed from engine prior to installation. Each engine requires a quantity of 1 Oil Separator.
