This is undoubtedly one of the coolest saddle cloths I've ever listed on ebay. Up for bid is an actual outrider saddle cloth worn by horses accompanying participating horses in the 2025 Breeders' Cup World Championships contested at Del Mar. What makes this saddle cloth so extraordinary is that 6 Kentucky Derby winning jockeys autographed the saddle cloth. And other than Hall of Fame superstar Angel Cordero, who only signed his name, the other 5 jockeys embellished on their signatures by including in their own handwriting the name of the horse that rode them to Kentucky Derby glory. Included are the following: Jose Ortiz who also signed the name, "Golden Tempo" (One of the most historic wins in Kentucky Derby history as it marked the first female trainer in history ... Cherie Devaux ... to win the Derby), Junior Alvarado who also wrote, "Sovereignty 2025 151 Ky Derby" (The horse eventually went on to win HOY honors), Jose Santos who also wrote, "Funny Cide," Flavien Prat who also wrote, "Country House," and Stewart Elliott who wrote, "Smarty Jones." Making this even more special is that all the autographs were secured Jose Santos, my close friend and partner, at Saratoga as a favor to me. As such, I will also include a signed COA documenting that fact as further assurance of the provenance of the autographs. The saddle cloth is in perfect worn condition.
