Up for sale is a uniquely beautiful and highly collectible vintage souvenir plate commissioned by the luxury Miramar Inter-Continental Hotel in Panama.

Unlike standard corporate hotel china, this rare promotional piece was custom-crafted by local Panamanian artisans. The center of the plate features a stunning, abstract hand-painted bird design executed in the ancient Pre-Columbian / Gran Coclé folk art style, using bold black, yellow, and purple/red linework against a glazed white backdrop.

The top edge features the hand-lettered text: "MIRAMAR INTER-CONTINENTAL PANAMA". The base of the plate is a beautiful, unglazed natural terracotta redware clay.
