Condition: Pre-owned antique condition. Reel has been tested and is working. It shows age-related patina, oxidation, discoloration, scratches and general wear and would benefit from cleaning. The existing fishing line is old and should be replaced. Please review all photos closely for cosmetic condition.

Antique Pflueger Oceanic 300 Free Spool Surf Casting Reel featuring the classic Pflueger Bulldog Trade Mark.

Marked Oceanic Free Spool Surf Casting with size 300 stamped on the frame. The reel also carries patent dates Jan. 22, 1907 and Apr. 3, 1923.

Tested and working. The reel operates, but it has not been professionally cleaned or serviced. The existing vintage line should be replaced before regular use.

Nice original example with aged patina and wear consistent with its age. I have intentionally not heavily polished or restored the reel.

Great piece for an antique fishing tackle collection, Pflueger collector, vintage surf-casting display, or someone looking to clean it up and put it back into service.
