The Martenero Watch Company started in 2014 and closed its door around ten years later.  On their founding they were greeted with very positive reviews both for the quality of their watches, the color-ways, and especially the sub $500 price range for the original watches.  This Edgemere Reserve watch was priced at $750.00 when it was introduced to the retail market, which is when I brought it in 2021.  This Edgemere Reserve is powered by the Miyota 9132 movement with a 42-hour power reserve with 26 jewels.  The watch’s complications are several—a 24-hour sub dial, the date, and the power reserve indicator.  The watch is rated at 50M water resistance.  The 316L case is 40mm, 11.8mm in height with a 20mm lug width.  

The Edgemere Reserve replicates marine chronometers of the past with new vivid color, and this watch’s colorways do attract attention.  It is very easy to read, and it is comfortable on the wrist.  The watch was worn for five or six months.  Then it was put away until I brought it out a few days ago to sell on eBay. 

This Edgemere Reserve is no longer available except on aftermarket web sites, if it can be found.  At $525.00, it is priced 30% below the original purchase price.
