Since its birth in 1975, the "PE" series has a long history as a flagship original model representing Aria Pro II. The "PE-5350GE/SH" inherits this tradition while incorporating the craftsmanship and unique ideas of "APII," the top-of-the-line brand of the ARIA CUSTOM SHOP.

The most distinctive feature of this model is its semi-hollow construction. While maintaining a traditional sound, it fuses Aria's long-standing and uniquely evolved design to create a well-balanced tone with excellent attack. It possesses the airiness and rich resonance characteristic of a semi-hollow body, while also offering modern responsiveness.

The body combines a maple top with an African mahogany back, a maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard. While based on orthodox specifications such as a 628mm scale and 22 frets, it achieves the high playability characteristic of the PE series.

The guitar features two ARIA CUSTOM SHOP original "SP-1" pickups, developed specifically for APII. Designed to maximize the characteristics of the body shape and the tonewoods used, these soapbar-type pickups offer a perfect balance of crispness, clarity, and a solid, full sound. Combined with the semi-hollow body, this creates a unique and distinctive sound.

Another essential feature of the PE is its innovative heel-less cutaway. The beautifully smooth joint provides excellent access to the upper frets and a comfortable fit against the body. Years of accumulated know-how have ensured durability, and the rich sustain characteristic of the set-neck construction is a major attraction.

The bridge is Aria's proprietary SPT Bridge & QH Tailpiece, and the tuners are reliable GOTOH SG301s. The simple 1 Volume, 1 Tone, and 3-Way pickup selector allow for intuitive sound control.

Furthermore, the Matte Black finish accentuates the PE's elegant body lines. Without relying on ostentatious ornamentation, its unique semi-hollow structure and beautiful form exude presence, creating a refined and mature look.
