This classic piece of military outerwear was manufactured by Flight Apparel Industries Inc. in Hammonton, N.J. under military contract number 1982-1. It features the official MIL-J-7823E (AS) military specification tag.The jacket features a heavy-duty front zipper, a plush brown faux-fur/mouton collar, button-flap front utility pockets, and knit cuffs and waistband. It also includes an original personalized leather name patch on the left chest belonging to "W.E. DUFFY / AVCM USN" (Aviation Master Chief Petty Officer, US Navy). Truly a fantastic piece of genuine American military history!Condition:Good vintage condition with beautiful natural distressing and patina to the leather. The internal lining, labels, and original "Made in USA" tags are well-preserved. Knit cuffs and waistband show typical light wear consistent with age but remain fully functional.
