Offered here is an original Malachite Copper Ore Specimen that was acquired in a box that read it was from Colorado Spring, Colorado. Measures 5.50 x 4.0 x 2.0 and weighs about 1.50 pounds. Good display of green Malachite in a matrix that appears to be Brecia and Conglomerate. Acquired from the collection of a well known Ouray Colorado Mineral Dealer now sadly passed. Colorado Springs is not a well known location for copper ore, though it was associated with other precious metals mined back in the day. Great display piece that comes with the box and misspelling of "Malicite" as shown. Thanks for looking!
