1 Business Day Turnaround (From receipt of board to shipping back to you)

Beware of USED induction boards sold on eBay, sometimes as NEW without Box, they are either blown or highly worn out with unknown lifetime remaining.


The repaired board will be sent back to you tested with replaced components to make sure they can be re-installed in your range and work like new again.  Please do not send contact details (phone, address, email) in messages to me as your message may be deleted by eBay.  If I do not respond to a message I didn't get it, please resend the message possibly with fewer details to get in touch.

If after examination the board can not be repaired (very rare), you will be refunded the purchase price of the service, you can also be refunded the return shipping if you don't want the defective non repairable boards back, else you still pay for the return shipping for the board that can not be repaired. 

Turn around time: once the boards arrives at my lab in Ottawa via your shipping method add 1 business days for the refurbishing (in almost all cases) and then shipping back to you via Canada Post Expedited Parcel.

  1. To clarify this listing does not supply an item, you supply the broken board from the broken appliance and I supply the repair service on the board.
  2. Buyer pays for initial shipping to me in Ottawa Canada (local drop off welcome) out of pocket outside of eBay.  Tracked postage recommended. 
  3. Buyer also pays for shipping back the repaired board to them which is included in the eBay listing price when you purchase.
  4. The board sent in must be complete, with damaged components in their original locations.
  5. Boards that have previous repair attempts on them will definitely require an additional $40 charge to process if I opt to attempt the repair.


After purchasing the service please contact me with your appliance Model Number, Symptoms and any error codes so I can assess whether the board will be serviceable and what you may need to send in.  If you purchased and the board can't be repaired after the assessment via messages you'll be refunded fully and promptly, so don't worry about losing money.

The whole process step by step:


  1. You buy this service on eBay (which includes return shipping cost).

  2. You send me your model number, symptoms, error codes (and any relevant pictures if you wish) for assessment.

  3. If the board is the issue I will send you the shipping address and disassembly tips and possibly even a service manual via eBay.

  4. If the board is not the issue or are not fixable you get refunded at this point and the process stops.
  5. You remove the requested board from your appliance, ideally check for any burn marks on the board and take pictures (for yourself) of all wiring before you disconnect internal components.  Don't forget to unplug it/turn off the breaker.

  6. You ship to the provided address, send me the tracking info if you have it.  US buyers please use customs declaration of $14USD and Item Category "Return/repair".

  7. I service and test your board(s) within 1-2 business days 95% of the time.

  8. Your board is sent back to you.

  9. You reinstall the board, and are happy to use your range again! (hopefully without using boost on the large coil from now on to get a longer life)

Returns/Refunds:
- If it is determined that the boards are not the issue or that the boards are not repairable upon the initial messages, you will be refunded in full no hassle and no delays.

- If you have a problem with a repaired board within 90 days of delivery (which is rare) please reach out to me, we will do some basic troubleshooting and if the board is the issue you will need to ship it back to me in most cases for examination and then correction or refund at my discretion.  I do not issue refunds without being allowed to examine the failed board; this is to prevent fraud, to diagnose the failure point, and in some cases to warranty failed components.
