This is a used automatic transmission shift knob from a 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee.  This will work on 1984-1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ and 1986-1992 Jeep Comanche MJ (with console shifter).  However, this one is specifically correct for 1992-1996 Jeep Cherokees, with the black end caps.  Earlier models had chrome end caps.

This will also work on the later XJs 1997-2001, although the styling is different.  

This one is in excellent shape.
