TLDR; Excellent condition BAM piccolo case with functional case cover (not provided by BAM). Open to offers.
Details...
Piccolos should really be in sound proofed rooms at all times, even when not being played. Wood and velvet cases are trash at keeping those chihuahuas of the orchestra quiet.
Enter the BAM Piccolo case. Yeah, it's bigger than your average piccolo case. It's about the size of what Samsung probably plans to spec out the next generation Samsung Galaxy as, yet it's unbelievably light. Feels almost like a toy. But with the construction of it from the rubber seals to the foam that is as unyielding as a flutist's heart, it punches far above its weight. Sort of like a piccolo.
You can even lock it with a key... from the outside! No chance of that little monster getting out and inspiring the neighborhood oboes to call the cops. Again.
Bonus! I'll throw in a case cover for it. OK, it's probably a shaving kit bag, and I bought it off Amazon for cheap, and it feels cheap, but since it's black, it's hard to tell from a distance. But darnit if it isn't just the perfect little case cover / accessory bag for the BAM case. It easily fits picc cleaning rods and swabs, pencils, ear plugs (you do bring extra fresh packs for the people who have to sit next to you, right?) and probably even that next gen Samsung Galaxy you're sure to have your eye on. And snacks.
BAM cases are ridiculously priced IMHO. But then again, so are all decent instrument cases these days. Ordering a new BAM piccolo case from a retailer will set you back just shy of $450, plus shipping. This one is MINT, and it's an unusual pattern.
Everyone likes to haggle on eBay, but please be reasonable. Shipping is free and fast, and don't forget about the bonus case cover!
