About This Ornament
Readily identified by its bullet nose and the bold burgundy band that extended from the front of the locomotive to the back of the tender, the powerful N&W "J" class electric train set was an action-packed version of a freight train that roared through the Appalachian Mountains. Introduced by LIONEL in 1957, the mighty Norfolk and Western 16-wheeler locomotive is the 1999 entry in this series of Keepsake Ornaments. Die-Cast Metal. The wheels turn. #4 in the LIONEL Train series.
