DESCRIPTION:
This is a nice, old signed framed silhouette of the American Red Cross Service Club of Chester. The item features a cut silhouette framed in an aged gold gilt wooden picture frame. The item looks to be from the World War 2 era, signed and dated May 13, 1944 (80+ years old). I can not make out the full name signed on this item (it looks to be signed by Robert Witt ??). The framed silhouette measures about 7.5 inches high; it is about 6.75 inches wide. The item is from an estate liquidation. The frame has cracks in the gesso and finish (see photos). The paper and the silhouette have some stains and aging to the paper and some wear (see photos and/or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice, old signed framed silhouette of the American Red Cross Service Club of Chester for you to add to your collection or home decor.
