pair of vintage curtains featuring the iconic "Fruit" (also known as Pomegranate) pattern designed by William Morris for Sanderson. This classic Arts & Crafts design features an intricate, flowing botanical print of lemons, pomegranates, and peaches nestled amongst rich green foliage on a cream backdrop. These curtains are fitted with a standard pencil pleat header tape at the top, making them ideal for traditional cottage core, vintage, or classic country home interiors.
Condition: Used vintage condition with notable defects. The fabric on the front remains visually striking, but there are a lot of yellow age markings/staining on the inside linings. Additionally, one of the curtains has a prominent large stain running down the outside fabric edge on the front. Please review all close-up photographs carefully to assess the staining before purchasing. These would be perfect for a restoration project or for repurposing the fabric for upholstery and cushions.
