Title: This Woman, This Warrior!
Plot: Ms. Marvel flies into action to stop a gang of crooks. The citizens of New York are amazed and doubtful of new super-woman, calling it a publicity stunt. Meanwhile, the Scorpion is robbing a bank while the action is taking place outside. The Scorpion escapes. The cops arrived on the scene wanting to bring Ms. Marvel into questioning. She flies off. One hour later in a projection room located within the offices of the Daily Bugle Building, Carol Danvers is watching a film of Ms. Marvel with J. Jonah Jameson. He wants Carol to be the editor of woman's magazine and to uncover who is Ms. Marvel and write about what's important to women (diets, fashion, and recipes.) Carol Danvers accepts only if she writes wants she wants and for a salary of $30,000. J. Jonah Jameson agrees against his better judgment.As Carol steps out of the office, she bumps into Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson. Carol and Mary begin a discussion. On another side of town, the Scorpion is standing on the Brooklyn Bay Shore. He meets Kerwin Kormin better known as the Destructor. The Scorpion talks to him self about how he wants to destroy J. Johan Jameson. He gives Kormin $200,000 that he stole from the bank. Kormin gives him the keys to the lab for he has grown tired of it and created weapons for groups like Hydra. Back at Carol Danvers Central Park Penthouse, Carol and Mary Jane continued their discussion over coffee. Carol tells Mary Jane that she has earned a lot of money from her royalties from her first book about the Space Industry. Mary Jane recalls when Captain Marvel showed up on Earth and reading about Carol in the newspapers. Carol tells Mary Jane she had to leave her job as Security Consultant at Cape Kennedy because of inability to capture Captain Marvel. At the moment, Carol drops the coffee and suffers from a migraine. She tells Mary Jane to leave. Once Mary Jane leaves her apartment, Carol passes out in her bed.Meanwhile, across the town at the north exit of the Daily Bugle Building, a fuming Jonah Jameson waits for his Chauffeur. At that moment, Scorpion makes his attack on him and yells, 'Vengeance is Gonna Be Mine!'Flying through the air Ms. Marvel's seventh sense warned her too late of Jameson kidnapping. She arrives at the Daily Bugle and has a sense that she has been there before. She meets Joe Robertson. Joe asks what her name is, and Ms. Marvel doesn't know. Ms. Marvel seventh sense kicks in and gives her the location of where Jameson is. In a hurry she flies out the window. She flies by Carol Danvers apartment and not noticing that the bed is empty. The Scorpion has Jameson trapped in the lab. Jameson doesn't understand why he is doing it. The Scorpion recalls their past together and hates Jameson for turning him into the Scorpion. He cannot take off his suit. The Scorpion is going to drop Jameson in a vat of acid. Ms. Marvel arrives on the scene and recalls that she her Kree-Born Skill, but doesn't know why she even recalls that. She enters the lab and a fight begins with the Scorpion and Ms. Marvel. At the end of the battle, Ms. Marvel throws him into the vat of acid. Scorpion's costume protects him somewhat, but he can still feel the burning of the acid. Ms. Marvel saves Jameson but doesn't unhand cuff him. The Next Morning, Jameson is back at his office wanted Carol to figure out who this Ms. Marvel woman is. She agrees but she also knows she has her own mystery to solve as well.

UK Price Variant - First Print

VFN- (Very Fine Minus) High to Mid grade comic. Nice condition comic with slight signs of very minor wear.

This item is a UK Price Variant.
From the early 1960's until the mid-1980's, many original American comic books were distributed in the UK through sweet shops and newsagents. In order that the UK retailers would know what to charge for them, the publishers produced copies with prices in UK pence. These variant copies were printed at the same time, on the same presses, with the same paper and the same ink as all the cents-priced copies. The only difference was that at some point in the print run, the US cents cover price was changed to UK pence for those copies intended to be shipped to the UK. In addition, the cover month is often removed as well. This seems to be to avoid the comics appearing out of date when they arrived in the UK around a month or so after they hit the stands in the US. In those days shipping really did involve a ship! The exact quantity produced of these variants isn't known: however, considering the relative sizes of the US and UK comic book markets it's unlikely that UK Price variants would make up more than 10% of the entire print run.
