Six classic Madonna albums originally released during her 2016–2018 Sainsbury's partnership are being reissued on colored vinyl. The color variants include Like a Virgin on clear vinyl, True Blue on blue vinyl, Like a Prayer on red vinyl, Erotica on white vinyl, Ray of Light on blue vinyl, and Music on blue vinyl.

True Blue cemented Madonna’s status as one of the defining pop artists of the 1980s. Released in 1986, the album broadened her sound beyond dance-floor immediacy, mixing synth-pop, pop rock and balladry with a sharper sense of melody and image. Working with producer Stephen Bray and others, Madonna delivered a run of era-defining singles including Papa Don’t Preach, Open Your Heart, Live to Tell and La Isla Bonita, each helping extend her reach across radio and MTV alike. A global bestseller, True Blue is widely regarded as one of her most important releases and a key statement in mainstream pop’s evolution.
