Offered here is an original 1819 antique stampless handwritten letter, measuring approximately 6.5 x 8 inches unfolded, written from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and sent between close family members identified as cousins. The letter is dated November 20, 1819, opens with “Dear Cousin,” and contains warm personal content discussing family health, travel, property matters, and everyday domestic concerns typical of early American correspondence.
The letter survives with original folds, visible wax seal remnants, and areas of paper loss consistent with early 19th-century postal handling. Ink remains legible throughout despite wear. A modern typed genealogical note accompanies the letter and is included below exactly as written, per instruction.
(included verbatim, exactly as typed)
